WHAT YOU BRING:
Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
7+ years of well-rounded exposure in the field of software engineering across various technology stack implementations
5+ years of proven experience in a global software engineering organization comprising of geographically distributed teams
4+ years in the capacity of a lead/senior engineer role responsible for direct technical leadership over large-scale distributed teams focused on delivering distributed enterprise-scale systems
4+ years with SOA, data-centric, event-driven, API-based and high-performance distributed system architectures
4+ years in systems software development using common programming languages including but not limited to Java, Scala, Python, Go, Rust, etc.
4+ years professional experience with Cloud Native technologies on platforms like AWS or other major cloud providers, managed services like EKS, ECS, S3, Lambdas, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.
4+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, operating, and meeting the challenges of complex distributed systems including clustering, resiliency, reliability, streaming, HA/DR, etc.
4+ years of hands-on experience developing APIs and microservices with modern API standards & supportive technologies providing Service Mesh, API Gateway, API Registry, ALBs, etc.
4+ years of hands-on experience with CI/CD, DevOps or DevSecOps, Containers, Runtimes and with using tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, GitHub, etc.
2+ years instrumenting observability for distributed systems using combination of tool stack like Prometheus, Signalfx, Splunk, Grafana, Cloudwatch, New Relic, FluentD, Elasticsearch, etc.
Exposure to data and analytics platform designs, including experience with Data Quality, Big Data, data lake, streaming, eventing, and batch data processing technologies
Exposure to design standards and tooling for security & privacy related concepts like threat modeling, secure by design, OWASP, Identity & Access Management (IAM), etc.
